Snowdog is committed to ensuring the complete accessibility of its website to all people with disabilities or specific needs that affect their interaction with the web. This includes users who require assistive technology such as screen readers and magnifiers, those unable to use the mouse, and those dependent on accessibility features of their web browser.
To help us make this website a usable and functional place for everyone, we have been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). Weβve chosen Level AA as the target for the Snowdog website (both desktop and mobile versions).
Accessibility on Snowdog's website was checked using automatic testing tools and manual tests on different devices (mobile, desktop, and browsers).

We are working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realize there are some areas that still need improvement:
Keyboard support: some media sections (iframes, videos) are inaccessible for keyboard-only users.
The mobile menu is not fully accessible: assistive technology users may have an issue navigating through it.
Page structure and semantics: a heading order is broken, and semantic elements need improvements.
Alternative content: not all graphic elements have meaningful alternative text
Responsiveness: the website is not fully adjusted on a tablet view.
We are aware of existing issues and we will fix them by the end of October 2023.
